Star Wars and Marvel Day at Sea Are Returning to Disney Cruise Line in 2019 and Here Are All the Details

Make your next vacation a voyage with Disney Cruise Line because Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea are back—sailing across the Caribbean and Bahamas—and it’s going to be epic! Here’s everything we know so far:

Star Wars Day at Sea on the Disney Fantasy

This cruise will basically feel like sailing off to a galaxy far, far away. You will be able to hang out with iconic characters from the Star Wars saga—including Jedi, Wookiees, droids, stormtroopers, and more—during this day-long celebration as part of the seven-night Caribbean cruise. The “Summon the Force” deck party, part of Star Wars Day at Sea, features pyrotechnics, special effects and stunts including appearances by fan favorite characters like Kylo Ren, Darth Vader and Chewbacca. The day-long event celebrates the legendary adventures and iconic characters from the Star Wars saga.On top of character encounters, the day will also consist of a deck party spectacular, complete with fireworks and Star Wars-themed  food, beverages, and merch. Surprise encounters with Stormtroopers and other Star Wars characters are part of the Disney Cruise Line adventure Star Wars Day at Sea. The day-long event celebrates the legendary adventures and iconic characters from the Star Wars saga.We’re also super interested in the “Summon the Force” deck party which will include impressive pyrotechnics, special effects and stunts, as well as appearances by Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, and Chewbacca! Disney Fantasy Star Wars Day at Sea Itinerary

From January to early March 2019, Star Wars Day at Sea will only be offered on nine Disney Fantasy seven-night Caribbean cruises sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Departing January 5, January 19, February 2, February 16, and March 2, 2019, the western Caribbean itinerary includes Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica, and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Departing January 12, January 26, February 9, and February 23, 2019, the eastern Caribbean itinerary includes Tortola, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay.

Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Magic

This is your chance to immerse yourself in an epic celebration of the Marvel Universe! You’re going to need to summon your inner superhero to tackle the adventures that lie ahead during this thrilling day aboard the Disney Magic—inspired by your favorite Marvel comics, films, and animated series.The “Marvel Heroes Unite” deck show during Marvel Day at Sea combines special effects, stunts, pyrotechnics and music to create a sensational stunt show spectacular on the upper decks. The event features all-day entertainment celebrating the renowned comics, films and animated series of the Marvel Universe.The mightiest Marvel superheroes and villains are all going to be in one place, and you bet we’ll be there to witness it!Disney Cruise Line guests will assemble on the Disney Magic to celebrate the epic adventures of the Marvel Universe’s mightiest Super Heroes and Super Villains in a brand-new, day-long event: Marvel Day at Sea. The event kicks off on seven special sailings from New York City in the fall of 2017, followed by eight special voyages from Miami departing January through April 2018. The celebration combines the thrills of renowned Marvel comics, films and animated series, with the excitement of Disney Cruise Line entertainment to summon everyone’s inner Super Hero for the adventures that lie ahead during this unforgettable day at sea.Like Star Wars Day at Sea, there will be a deck show (called “Marvel Heroes Unite”), and Marvel-themed food, beverages, and merch.

Disney Magic Marvel Day at Sea Itinerary

From January to early March 2019, Marvel Day at Sea will only be offered on 10 Disney Magic five-night Caribbean and Bahamian cruises sailing from Miami, Florida.

Departing January 6 and January 20, 2019, the western Caribbean itinerary includes Grand Cayman and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Departing January 11, January 25, February 8, February 22, and March 8, 2019, the Bahamian itinerary includes Key West, Florida, Nassau, Bahamas, and Castaway Cay.

Departing February 3, February 17, and March 3, 2019, the western Caribbean itinerary includes Cozumel, Mexico and Castaway Cay.
