Chefs & Master Sommeliers Announced for 2018 Adventures by Disney Rhine Food & Wine Sailings

While the annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival just kicked off yesterday, Adventures by Disney is already prepping for its 2018 Food & Wine sailings along the Rhine River. The timing is fitting, as these 8-day, 7-night adult-exclusive epicurean sailings, departing in fall of 2018, expand on the theme of international eats by taking guests to the heart of Europe to indulge in the authentic foods from 4 different countries!

The sailings are hosted by renowned chefs and sommeliers, serving up extraordinary food and beverage experiences both on and off the ship. On the Sept. 24, 2018 sailing, Scott Hunnel, Executive Chef at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, including the AAA Five Diamond award-winning Victoria and Albert’s, will be hosting culinary presentations and demonstrations. Joining him onboard the river cruise ship will be George Miliotes, one of only 236 Master Sommeliers in the world, who is also behind Wine Bar George at Disney Springs which will open in early 2018.

On the second sailing, departing on Oct. 8, 2018, guests will be joined by Chef Rudolf “Rudy” Muller, Executive Chef and Culinary Director at Hong Kong Disneyland along with Brian Koziol, Master Sommelier and Concept & Development Director, Food and Beverage at Walt Disney World Resort.

While cruising along Europe’s Rhine River, you’ll also make visits to world-famous breweries and award-winning wineries, partake in gourmet demonstrations and workshops, sip your way through local beer and wine pairings on culinary walking tours, and much more. These activities will allow you to discover the unique culinary history and culture of four countries—Switzerland, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Bookings for these special sailings are now open! And, don’t miss the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, taking place now through Nov. 13.
