Beauty and the Beast-Themed Rhine River Cruises and More Coming to Adventures by Disney

The Beauty and the Beast news just keeps getting better and better! If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Belle and immerse yourself in the real life places that inspired the tale as old as time, Adventures by Disney has you covered! We recently went on an Adventures by Disney river cruise vacation, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Now, Adventures by Disney has revealed even more river cruise vacation offerings for 2018 on the Rhine and Danube rivers, including the Beauty and the Beast experiences of our dreams. Here’s everything we know so far:

Beauty and the Beast-Themed Rhine River Cruises

Adventures by Disney sails with AmaWaterways, a premier luxury river cruise line, and the boat AmaKristina will be taking guests along the Rhine river to four countries: France, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands. The trip will include excursions in the Black Forest, at Heidelberg Castle, and more in an eight day, seven night vacation. For six of these departures in 2018, travelers will explore the villages and culture along the Rhine that inspired both the animated classic and live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast. This will also include Beauty and the Beast-themed cuisine, and screenings of both films. This sounds like a dream to us!

Food and Wine-Themed Rhine River Cruises

During two sailings in the fall, these adult-exclusive sailings will be hosted by renowned chefs and sommeliers, and will include food and wine tastings, classes, seminars, and of course culinary walking tours in several ports. These were inspired by the Epcot and Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festivals. Sign us up for this!

Danube River Cruises

While the AmaKristina is on the Rhine, the AmaViola will be on the Danube, for another season of summertime sailings, including the brand new adult-exclusive Oktoberfest sailing in September of 2018! These will be eight day, seven night vacations with visits to Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary, and opportunities to see iconic locations like Devin Castle in Bratislava and real life scenes from The Sound of Music. We need to go on this adventure!
