Summer Is Heating Up With Exciting July Member Events!
Summer is heating up with exciting Member Events coming to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort this July. East Coast visitors can enjoy celebrating American Independence with a special dessert party, while those heading to Disneyland can celebrate the Diamond Anniversary in true Member fashion!

• Disney Vacation Club Independence Day Dessert Party: If you’ll be celebrating America’s Independence at Walt Disney World Resort, be sure not to miss this festive event available to Members and their Guests. Taking place at the Convention Center Porte-Cochere of Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m., celebrate Independence Day in star-spangled style with themed games, entertainment and treats the entire family will enjoy. End the festive night with a bang from the fireworks spectacle, Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky Show.
Event highlights include:
- A tasty array of red, white and blue dessert samplers, patriotic punch and assorted non-alcoholic sips—alcoholic beverages available via cash bar for those Guests 21 years of age or older
- Carnival games
- A “front porch” view of Disney’s Celebrate America – a Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at Magic Kingdom Park starting at 9:00 PM
- Photo opportunities with Mickey and Minnie decked out in patriotic attire—plus, a complimentary take-home print

• Disney Vacation Club Jubilee Celebration: For those Members visiting Disneyland Resort this July, celebrate over 60 years of magic at the theme park with an all-new dazzling party. Taking place at the Sequoia Ballroom of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., be transported back to the year of 1955, when the Happiest Place on Earth first opened, with themed music, décor and entertainment. Enjoy unique photo opportunities, festive games, Character meetings and so much more!
This event features the following unique experiences:
- A dance party with a live DJ playing a mix of modern and retro tunes
- Disneyland Park trivia
- Carnival-style games
- An opportunity to meet a few unique Characters
- Convenient print-on-demand stations to create complimentary print souvenirs
- Classic Disneyland refreshments—alcoholic beverages available via cash bar for those Guests 21 years of age or older
