Where to meet Sorcerer Mickey

The one character everyone wants to see at Walt Disney World is Mickey. One of his most popular costumes is that of the Sorcerer from Fantasia. You can find Sorcerer Mickey only at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and he is hidden away at that.  You will need to really study your map to find him and a few other characters hidden in this spot. You won’t just walk up on them. The line for Mickey is usually the shortest of all the Mickey lines in all of Walt Disney World, simply because he is hard to find. An added bonus is that along with Sorcerer Mickey, usually the latest movie characters are also hidden in this “secret” location.

So where is it? It’s in the back of a building in the back of the Animation Courtyard.  The best way to get there is to walk THROUGH the Animation Gallery store located in the back of the Animation Courtyard. The store is located just past the Disney Junior – Live on Stage! show and to the right of The Magic of Disney Animation, behind the 4,000,000 strollers.

Update:

The Magic of Disney Animation is closing the July 12, 2015 at Hollywood Studios.  This closure means that meet and greets with both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are being relocated.  Mickey will reportedly move to the animation courtyard temporarily and Minnie will join the other main Disney characters back out in the central plaza in front of the Chinese Theater.  I know that change happens but this really makes me sad to see this area go away.
