How we make over $400 a year for our Disney vacations.

Earn money with Swagbucks towards your next Disney vacation

swagbucks-logo1*Update: We earned over $470 in 2015!

Swagbucks is a great and easy way to have extra money for your Disney trip

Use your earnings to treat yourself to little luxuries like Starbucks gift certificates, Amazon eGift cards or send it directly to your bank account via PayPal to contribute towards your Disney trip. Read Genevieve’s story on how she took her grandchild to Disney all with Swagbucks money.

Is it Really Worth the Effort?

Absolutely!  I have been personally using Swagbucks since 2013 and over the years I have earned hundreds of dollars in gift cards that I have been able to use for things we needed and fun things that we wanted.  I paid for most of our Christmas presents using gifts cards I earned from Swagbucks.  In 2014 alone, I earned $455. In 2015, I got my husband an account and taught him how to make money, and we made $473 in real dollars (Amazon.com and PayPal) in 2015.

What is Swagbucks?SwagbucksLifetimeEarning

Basically it’s a site that allows you to earn great rewards such as eGift cards and cash just for using Swagbucks to search the Internet, watch videos, take surveys or make purchases.  For example, a $5 Amazon.com eGift card is only 450 Swag Bucks!

Tips for maximizing your Swagbucks earnings:

Once you’ve registered with Swagbucks, just follow the instructions below to maximize your earnings.SwagbucksGiftCards

Perform these tasks right now:

  1. Complete your Swagbucks profile. Things like adding a profile picture and filling out your full name will earn you some extra Swag Bucks. It also helps Swagbucks deliver more relevant earning opportunities directly to you so you can get maximum value out of your Swagbucks experience.
  2. Set up the Daily Goal Meter. Turn on your Daily Goal Meter and earn bonus Swag Bucks based on your activity.
  3. Complete your survey profiles. For every profile that you complete, you get 2 Swag Bucks. Plus you’ll get targeted survey opportunities sent right to your email inbox, giving you the opportunity to earn even more.
  4. Download the Swagbucks mobile tv apps on your mobile devices.  I get most of my points from the mobile apps.  There are 3 free Swagbucks apps that are available for Apple and Android. They are SBTV, EntertaiNow, and Lifestylz.
  5. Sign up for email notifications at Swagcode Spoilers for Swag Code alerts sent to your email.

Print & Use Coupons

If you already use coupons, then this is pretty much a no-brainer!  You can earn 10 Swag Bucks for every coupon you print from the Swagbucks site and redeem.

Your daily Swagbucks routine:

Follow this simple and easy routine to earn a minimum of 5 Swag Bucks daily – that’s around 150 Swag Bucks per month without doing anything else!

  1. Daily Crave: View or read 2-3 bite-sized featured Encrave articles for 1 SB every day.
  2. Swagbucks Toolbar: In addition to letting you search and win, earn from SBTV videos, the toolbar lets you check for active Swag Codes.  From time to time it will feature codes of its own as well.  PLUS you earn a Swag Bucks each day just for having it installed.
  3. Daily Poll: Answer the Swagbucks Daily Poll question to instantly earn 1 Swag Buck.  Sometimes you will get a bonus Encrave that will pop up for you; it is worth extra bonus points.  I did not realize that for the first one or two months.
  4. No Obligation Special Offers (NOSO): Browse and complete the free offers daily for some quick and easy Swagbucks.  Just click through each deal in a few seconds.  Don’t forget to check your Swagbucks inbox for additional limited time only offers.
  5. Swagcodes:  Swagbucks posts at least one Swagcode a day.  The point value changes on a day-to-day basis for the Swagcode.  Swagcodes are time sensitive; they normally are active for only two or three hours. Make sure to subscribe to Swagcode Spoilers for updates throughout the day.
  6. Swagbucks apps:  I always turn on my Swagbucks apps while I am getting ready in the morning, working out, making dinner or any free time that I may have. I start with SBTV first because it requires the fewest videos to earn Swag Bucks.  Once I have met my daily allotment, I normally go to EntertaiNow because it is mostly movie trailers.  You do have to watch the screen because periodically there will be an ad that you have to click on to continue watching the videos.

Perform these tasks daily to earn even more:

  1. Search:  Do you search for things online?  Of course, everyone does!  By using the Swagbucks search engine the way you would any other search engine, you’ll be periodically rewarded with Swag Buck search wins.
  2. SBTV:  Entertainment news, cooking techniques/recipes and technology trends are just some of the things you can learn about while watching videos on Swagbucks TV.  As you watch, see the SBTV meter increase in the upper right-hand corner.  Once the meter fills up, which is 10 videos, you earn SwagBucks.  Normally there will be a code that you need to enter to get the points added to your account.
  3. Surveys:  Brands want your opinion and are shelling out Swag Bucks for it.  Check out your Survey dashboard every day to see which surveys you qualify for and get ready to earn big.  These have big point values but you do not always qualify for the surveys.  You get one point for each survey that you tried but did not qualify for, up to five points a day.

Other ways to earn:

  • Shop and Earn: Who doesn’t love to shop?  At Shop & Earn, you’ll find over 700 of your favorite retailers, all offering a Swag Buck rebate for every dollar you spend.  Stores such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, and the Disney Store are among the stores that participate.
  • Games:  Have fun playing games online and you’ll be so entertained you won’t even notice that you’re earning Swag Bucks for it.  Be sure to enter in tournaments for a chance to win bigger Swag Buck payouts.
  • Swagbuck task:  Research specific topics on the Internet and answer questions while earning Swag Bucks along the way.
  • Follow Swagbucks on Twitter, Facebook, and the Swagbucks blog. They regularly offer limited-time-only Swag Codes on each of these sites.
  • Invite your friends to join Swagbucks. You’ll earn Swagbucks for referring them!

Discounts on Gift Cards:

Swagbucks is making some changes to the gift card redemption options, which will allow you to score bigger gift cards for fewer Swag Bucks.  You will be able to redeem 2,200 Swag Bucks for one $25 gift card of your choice once a month (discount excludes PayPal and gas cards).  They are also introducing a new $3 Amazon gift card which is only 300 Swag Bucks.  These changes begin on March 2, 2015.
